Nicholas J. Cappadora
Nicholas J. Cappadora is an Associate with Sahn Ward Coschignano, PLLC. He concentrates his practice in the areas of zoning and land use, real estate law and transactions, municipal law, litigation and appeals and matrimonial and family law.
While attending law school, Mr. Cappadora interned for Nassau County Supreme Court Justice Anthony L. Parga. He also performed an internship with the Long Island Real Estate Group’s at Work Program, in which he shadowed prominent professionals in the real estate industry. In addition, he was an active member of the Dispute Resolution Society where he competed in a Dispute Resolution Triathlon sponsored by FINRA.
Mr. Cappadora is also a New York State Certified Mediator. He mediated child custody and visitation disputes at Nassau County Family Court as part of Hofstra’s Mediation Clinic.
In 2012, Mr. Cappadora received the Hon. Frank A. Gullotta Endowed Scholarship from the Columbian Lawyers Association of Nassau County, of which he is a member. He is also a member of New York State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section, the Nassau County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers, Real Property and Dispute Resolution Committees and the Long Island Real Estate Group.
In 2015, Mr. Cappadora co-authored an article with the firm’s managing partner, Michael H. Sahn, Esq., titled “When is a Local Land Dispute Ripe for Federal Court Review?”, which was published in the October 2015 issue of the Nassau Lawyer.
Mr. Cappadora was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 2014.
